1、 Safety precautions for installation of PUR hot melt adhesive laminating machine:
When installing the hot melt adhesive machine, a correct and effective grounding wire must be connected. Any equipment that uses high voltage electricity needs to have a grounding wire. Without a grounding wire, any insulated components on the hot melt glue machine may still form voltage conductors and pose a risk of electric shock.
2. According to the required load of the hot melt adhesive machine and its surrounding equipment, check whether the power cord and insulation protection used comply with regulations. The load of the wire must be higher than the rated power of the hot melt adhesive machine.
3. Ensure that the voltage connected to the hot melt adhesive machine from the outside is consistent with the machine itself. For example, if a single-phase 220V voltage standard hot melt adhesive machine equipment uses a 380V power supply, it will damage the hot melt adhesive machine spraying equipment. If a single-phase 220V voltage standard hot melt adhesive machine equipment uses a power supply lower than 220V, it may not meet the equipment design performance and may also damage the hot melt adhesive machine. When wiring, ensure that its power cord is correctly connected to the external circuit breaker position.
4. Ensure that the hot melt adhesive machine operates at the specified voltage. If the voltage used is different from the specified one, it may cause the hot melt adhesive machine to burn out.
2、 Safety precautions for daily operation of PUR hot melt adhesive laminating machine
1. Avoid operating the hot melt glue machine around volatile and explosive materials or gases, and do not store flammable and explosive materials around the hot melt glue machine spraying equipment.
2. Do not operate the hot melt adhesive machine without proper protective devices, good insulation, or a good protective panel. Only professionally trained personnel can disassemble and repair the machine when maintenance is required.
3. Do not operate the hot melt adhesive machine in environments with temperatures below 0 ℃ or above 50 ℃.
4. Try to use it in areas without fast flowing air. When the hot melt adhesive nozzle assembly is exposed to rapidly circulating air, rapid cooling can affect the hot melt adhesive flow rate of the nozzle assembly, which can easily lead to wire drawing.
When adding hot melt adhesive, it should be added before there is still one-third of the hot melt adhesive in the hot melt adhesive pot to avoid adding adhesive when there is no hot melt adhesive in the hot melt adhesive pot, which will affect normal production.
6. The amount of supplementary glue shall not exceed 80% of the total volume of the hot melt glue pot.
3、 Precautions to be taken when using PUR hot melt adhesive laminating machine:
When operating the hot melt adhesive machine, do not place other debris on the machine body or use it as a lifting tool.
When moving or lifting the hot melt adhesive machine, only its base is allowed to be used as the lifting point. Do not use the glue pot cover, electrical box door, electrical components on the control panel, or joints on the insulation pipe of the hot melt adhesive machine as auxiliary tools to lift the machine. Abnormal handling will damage the spraying equipment of the hot melt adhesive machine.
4、 Safety precautions for maintenance and repair of hot melt glue machine spraying equipment
When maintaining and repairing the hot melt adhesive machine, the following main safety precautions should be taken:
Before carrying out maintenance and repair work on the hot melt adhesive machine, the power supply on the hot melt adhesive machine and the main power supply connected to the outside must be cut off first, and live operation is not allowed.
When carrying out disassembly, maintenance, and repair work, workers should avoid wearing earrings, watches, necklaces, bracelets, and other conductive decorations to prevent accidents.
3. Do not disassemble, inspect or adjust any parts of the hot melt adhesive machine casually unless you have sufficient knowledge of the equipment performance.
4. Do not disassemble or repair the hot melt adhesive machine equipment alone unless there are other personnel assisting nearby and immediate assistance or first aid can be provided in the event of an accident, mechanical damage, or personal injury.
Only qualified personnel can carry out maintenance and repair work on the hot melt adhesive machine.
6. Under no circumstances should you touch wire connectors or other components that may be exposed to the outside world and have wire connections that are not loose.
Before disassembling or moving the protective device on the hot melt adhesive machine or replacing the components, the power supply must be cut off first.
If possible, try to stand on a plastic blanket for maintenance and repair work. Never perform maintenance work on the hot melt adhesive machine in flooded floors or extremely humid environments.
8. When maintaining and repairing the hot melt adhesive machine, safety gloves, goggles, and long sleeved work clothes must be worn to avoid burns to body parts from high-temperature liquid hot melt adhesive or from high-temperature component surfaces.
When loosening or installing pressure joints, it must be confirmed that the pressure of the air source providing pressure to the hot melt adhesive machine has been reduced to zero.
10. When cleaning the hot melt adhesive tank, avoid using hard tools with fireworks or sharp edges to avoid scratching the PTFE non adhesive coating inside the tank.
11. If there is air pressure or glue leakage in the hot melt glue machine, do not continue to operate the machine. First, stop the hot melt glue machine, cut off the power, and reduce the operating pressure to zero before conducting maintenance.
